<p>I&#8217;ve worked in radio for over 20 years.  It&#8217;s true that &#8220;the pictures are better&#8221;!  Sometimes video is superfluous and distracting.</p>
<p>And sometimes video is essential.  Radio would not have captured the expression seen on Kehlan&#8217;s face in the above video.</p>

<a href="http://missionv.ie">MissionV</a> is a new company working to bring game-based learning to schools using virtual worlds technology.  They&#8217;ve just completed their first pilot at Gaelscoil Eoghain Uí Thuairisc in Carlow.  Phase 2 commences in September with a roll-out to 20 schools and a project for Science Week 2011.</p>
